HRHEADROT Mint a Spirit
THE HEADROT ARCHIVE

Everything buried
learns to grow.

The world teaches you to stay composed. Remain useful. Follow the script.

The thoughts that do not fit are pushed somewhere quieter.

They do not disappear there.

They accumulate.

ARCHIVE 0000

They were discovered.
Not created.

Nobody knows who assembled the archive.

Inside were 1,222 records. Each contained a portrait, six recorded traits and evidence of an internal state that had somehow become visible.

The records were not drawings of the Spirits.

They were the Spirits.

THE SUPPRESSION

The inside does not
stay inside forever.

Every HEADROT began as something its host could not show.

An impulse. An obsession. A fear. A thought repeated until it no longer belonged to the person carrying it.

The archive documented what happened next.

THE RECORDS

1,222 escaped states.

Six traits were recorded for every Spirit. The archive names them one way. The exhibition reads them another. Both are shown, and the recorded values are never altered.

The source names are kept beside the readings because the underlying metadata is never edited. Open the full archive.

EXTRACTION

Burn the coin.
Break the record.

A Spirit can be removed from the archive by burning 2,111 $ROT.

The coin is sent away permanently. The next available record is released.

There will never be more than 1,222 Spirits.

CONTAINMENT

The rooms keep
them occupied.

A released Spirit can be parked inside a room.

The rooms are fed with stocks. A parked Spirit begins taking a weighted share of future deposits.

The longer it remains continuously contained, the deeper the rot takes hold.

Its multiplier begins at 1.00x and can grow to 3.50x. The multiplier changes how a deposit is divided by weight. It does not create additional money.

Let the rot set in.

Unparking removes the Spirit from containment and interrupts the progression. The clock starts over.

FIELD NOTE

We spent years learning how to keep it inside.

Nobody prepared us for what would happen when it learned how to leave.
